Destination Lisbon

Situated in Linda-a-Velha and with an incredible view over the Tagus River and the adjacent gardens, from MS Aparthotel you can visit, on the banks of the Tagus, three of the most important tourist sights of Lisbon, representing the most prosperous time of Portugal: the Discoveries.

The Belém Tower, one of Lisbon’s most emblematic monuments of medieval construction, is classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.

The Jerónimos Monastery, located in the beautiful Praça do Império, is an enigmatic 16th century construction, considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Next to the Monastery, you can savour one of the most traditional sweets, the pastéis de Belém, and contemplate the typical Portuguese tile decoration.

The Padrão dos Descobrimentos, a monument that aims to honour the historical past of the Portuguese overseas expansion and pay homage to the historical figures involved in the Portuguese Discoveries.

A few metres away, you can find the Cruz Quebrada station, which will take you to Cais do Sodré, where you can visit nearby Ribeira da Naus, Terreiro do Paço, Rossio and Baixa-Chiado.

Going the opposite way, you can enjoy a pleasant train ride by the sea, which will take you to a number of beaches between Lisbon and Cascais, such as Caxias, Santo Amaro, Carcavelos or São Pedro do Estoril.
